The farmers used the water and the land around them to great advantage but the heavy toll meant items were frequently having to be repaired or replaced. Our farming experts aim to make a new plough at this event, so come along and give them a hand.Find out how much hard work it was to plough a simple plot by trying out our replica foot-plough.
Demonstrations of cooking using barley to make delicious stews, ancient grain breads and ancient craft beers - all which are available in exchange a donation.
