Scottish Fire & Rescue Service called twice at Mercure Hotel in the space of two hours

Scottish Fire & Rescue Service have been called at least twice under the space of two hours, 21st of April, 2015.

Scottish Fire & Rescue Service have been called at least twice under the space of two hours, 21st of April, 2015.

Guests of the hotel have been evacuated twice from the hotel following the sound of the fire alarm. Two appliances from Scottish Fire & Rescue Service attended.

It has been confirmed that a guest left an iron burning and the second call out was due to a bathroom door being left open while someone was taking a shower.
