Due to demand for their services in the area, a local home care company is celebrating a move to larger premises in a prime area of Perth perfect for their expansion.

Home Instead Perthshire was established two years ago by Saqib Rehman and now employs three office staff and 20 caregivers. Over the last two years, the home care company has continued to experience high demand for their companionship-led at-home care services.

Their new office, located at 5 Atholl Place in the heart of Perth offers them the opportunity to expand their team due to their central location and larger office space.

Saqib commented on the upsizing: “We are delighted with our new home, as we had outgrown our previous, smaller office due to a high demand for our care services. The new office is a lovely modern space to greet new and existing clients and caregivers, and now we are located in the heart of Perth we are now more accessible.”

Saqib continued: “We want to spread the word about the amazing work we do, and not only support more people, but also encourage people to consider joining our team and make a difference. We are on the lookout for 30 new caregivers, so please do get in touch if you are interested in joining us!”

Commenting on the role of a caregiver, Saqib says: “We recruit people from a whole range of backgrounds, but one thing they have in common is that they have a passion to help others and a willingness to learn.  Experience in care is not necessary as thorough training will be provided so that our caregivers go on and make it possible for an older adult in the local area to live well at home.”

Support typically comprising of companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, personal care, medication reminders, shopping and errands for older people.
