Two more businesses are closing down due to the footfall and the high rent rates.

Earlier this week Bertie Browns announced that their online website and shop will be closing down due to footfall issues.

Following the news that widespread across Perthshire, two more businesses are closing down.  Sandalwood in Scott Street announced their business will be closing and Bazaar Boutique in Princes Street also announced closure of their business.

Three businesses in total are set to close down. But who will replace them? We can only wait and hope.

To clarify, Perth & Kinross Council do not set the rates but have the tools to strengthen, advise and offer business tools.

EDIT: We are unable to clarify who owns the properties.
