Perthshire is the highest by going up 54% this year, leaving Edinburgh second and Aberdeen third. SPC Scotland reported a growth in sales of 29%. Almost every part of Scotland, except for Glagow, the borders and Fife, reported double digit growth in sales.

Peter Ryder, chairman of SPC Scotland, said: "There is growing confidence among solicitor estate agents that the property market is starting to gather momentum - at least in terms of sales."
