Poundland entrepreneur Steve Smith is set to take the business online, giving customers the option to make their cheap-as-chips purchases on the internet.

Given everything is £1, delivery will cost £3 to buyers online - covering the cheap goods right to your door. Some Perth locals spotted the news early this week and were far fetched than thought.

One local buyer in Poundland spoke to Perth Gazette: "online shopping takes over technology these days - this will be handy for those who cannot get out of the house - but like me, I like to hunt for a bargain"

Speaking to The Times, Mr Smith  added: ‘The first few years we didn’t make any money at Poundland. It’s a bit like this. I suppose I’m the one person who can make it work.’
