The next Carse Community Café on Thursday 29th May 2014 will celebrate the initiative's first anniversary.

The Carse Community Café is a monthly get-together where carers, the person they support and members of the local community can come together with the opportunity to chat with others, swap tips on caring, make new friends and find out about avenues of support.

Meeting on the last Thursday of every month, the Café is held at All Souls’ Church Hall, Main Street, Invergowrie between 10.30am and 12.30pm and anyone from the Carse of Gowrie is warmly welcomed to drop in, enjoy a tea or coffee, pick up information on caring or have a chat with staff who can provide support, advice and information and signpost carers to appropriate and available support and services.

This month, to mark a year since the Café's opening, there will be entertainment from local musicians, a visit and short talk from staff at the Cairn O'Mohr winery as well as fun quizzes and birthday cake to enjoy!
