Johnston Carmichael appointment strengthens Perth team

Leading business advisory and chartered accountancy firm Johnston Carmichael has strengthened its team in Perth through the appointment of new Tax Manager, Senga Prior.

Before joining Johnston Carmichael, Senga was with Bell & Company for 17 years, where she specialised in advising owner managed businesses and private clients, with a particular focus on the agricultural sector.

Senga is the Scottish representative volunteer member of the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) Technical Steering Group and is responsible for contributing to ATT responses to HMRC consultations including Scottish Taxpayer Status, Making Tax Digital and the abolition of Class 2 NIC.

Senga was also a major contributor to the ATT response to the consultation on the Extension of Farmers Averaging.
