Perth Leisure have closed their pool again after a contamination leak.

One insider who works for the company and who wishes to remain anonymous said the pool had no choice but to close again. Another reader also confirmed the pool had shut after an "older child" had an incident in the pool.

Last month the pool had to close twice following the same incident and Perth Leisure Pool is to make tighter rules to prevent this on-going problem. PG has contacted the company for a comment.

Rules are already set in place to give a strict guideline, for example if a child/adult has just recovered from being ill, to allow 48 hours for clearance until entering the pool.

Last month Perth Leisure digital team had to comment on PG's Facebook pages to explain why the pool was closed to its customers, however, no official answer was posted on their website or their own social media.

UPDATE: Perth Leisure have issued a press release, you can view it by clicking here.
