Police Scotland have asked the public for information after series of thefts of women's underwear in the Perth area. The force issued out a statement on Wednesday asking members of the public to contact 101 with any information they have.

A spokesperson from Police Scotland said:"Police Scotland is appealing for information after series of thefts of ladies clothing from washing lines in the Raeburn Park area of Perth during May.

Anyone with any information that may be useful should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting CR/11222/17 or speak to any police officer."

Police Scotland did not describe the missing underwear in question but have commented members of the public should take the incident seriously.
