Police officers in Perth are appealing for information after a family car, modified for disabled access, was stolen from the driveway of a house in Muirton Bank.

The house was broken into sometime between 11pm last Friday (May 23) and 10am on Saturday (May 24). Then the thief or thieves left the area in the blue Renault Grand Scenic parked outside. The vehicle is fitted with a hoist where seating to assist with disabled access.

When stolen the car bore the registration K506 LKL.

Police Scotland would appeal to anyone who has information that could lead to the recovery of this vehicle to call 101 or speak to any officer. Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
