Enquiries continue into death of Alan Gardner

Enquiries have been continuing into the death of Alan Gardner (49) who was found dead within a property in Balbeggie, Perthshire on Thursday 23 April 2015.

Mr Gardner's blue Toyota Rav, which was initially unaccounted for, was located on Friday night (24 April) in Perth, following a police appeal.

Police Scotland have now confirmed that a 30 year old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the disappearance of Mr Gardner's motor car and is expected to appear at Perth Sherriff Courttomorrow (Monday 27 April 2015).

The enquiry into the circumstances surrounding Mr Gardner's death is currently ongoing and his death is still being treated as suspicious at this time.
