Police Scotland charge man inconnection with recent bogus calling

Police Scotland have arrested a 42-year-old man in connection with robbery's in Perth.

Police Scotland confirmed last week two pensioners were targeted by a man claiming he worked for a gas company.

A spokeswoman said: "Police Scotland, Tayside Division can confirm that a 42 year old man has been charged in connection with door step crime in the North Muirton and Letham areas of Perthshire. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal and he is expected to appear at Perth Sheriff Court tomorrow."
