Man in hospital following serious assault in Perth

Police Scotland have confirmed a 43-year-old man is in hospital following a serious assault in Perth. Police are appealing for witnesses in relation to a serious assault which occurred in the car park at Morrisons, Caledonian Road, Perth about 1845 hours on Thursday 17th May 2018.

The male responsible is described as a white male aged in his 30’s about 5ft 8 inches tall, medium build with dark hair. He was bare-chested and was wearing light coloured shorts or jogging bottoms and round black sunglasses at the time of the attack.

Anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, or may have seen the incident or the male responsible making off after the attack is requested to call 101, speak to any officer or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 with any information
