Perth man snorts cocaine while detained in police van

A Perth man was caught in the back of a police van snorting cocaine to hide the evidence from police officers while being detained.
Steven Downie, 20, from Garth Avenue was stopped by officers in the city centre on the 31st of December last year for causing havoc. Officers soon spotted a while powder across Mr Downie's nose.
Steven was arrested and taken to Perth police station where officers found another two bags of cocaine street value of £100.
Mr Downie was fined £300 by Sheriff Lindsay Foulis.
