Perth targeted by skimming card reader machines

Members of the public in Perth are to be on the look out for any unusual activity on cash machines.

Police Scotland confirmed they received calls of a suspected device on a cash machine in Western Edge.  Public are to be extra vigilant when using a cash machine.

Before using a cash machine you should check if any objects on the machine move such as the keypad or the card reader.  Police Scotland are asking members of the public to contact them on 101 if you feel a machine has been tampered with.

And to avoid using a cash machine if a certain person or group are acting suspicious near a cash machine.
