Police Scotland appealing for information after thieves target ATM at filling station in Crieff Road

Police Scotland is appealing for information following the theft of money from an ATM at a filling station in Crieff Road, Huntingtower, in Perth.

The ATM was targetted sometime between 8pm and 6.30am this morning (Thursday 7 January) and thieves made off with a a quantity of cash.

Officers are carrying out house to house enquiries and a review of CCTV is underway.

On the 5th of January, 2016, an ATM was targeted by thieves at the Co-op, Argyll Road. Police are still confirming whether both incidents are connected.

Police Scotland are appealing to any members of the public who were in the area at the time and saw any suspicious activity to contact Police Scotland on 101.
