Prisoner Michael McInnes updates Facebook while police trace him

Michael McInnes has failed to return the open prison at Castle Huntly.

Michael aged 23 who is serving a sentence for attempted murder has failed to turn up at Castle Huntly. Despite Michael's thereabout Police Scotland are investigating his current location. However it's emerged today that Michael McInnes uploaded pictures on to Facebook from night-outs while being on the run.

Police Scotland said: "Michael McInnes failed to return to the prison when expected to on Wednesday, December 4 after being granted a period of temporary home release to an address in Glasgow. He is believed to frequent the Glenluce area in Wigtownshire and the Bellshill area of Glasgow."

Anyone who has seen him, or who knows where he is, should call Police Scotland on 101, or speak to any police officer.
