Sexual Assault in Kirremuir not linked to Perth incident

Police Scotland are keen to trace a man who sexually assaulted a 43-year-old female which is believed not to be linked to the Perth Dunkeld Road incident.

Sometime between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Sunday 16 February a 43-year-old woman was walking across the grassy area at the rear of Hillbank Terrace in Kirriemuir when she was approached by a man who sexually assaulted her. 

He’s described as being of slim build.

The area has been cordoned off the allow officers to examine the scene and specialist officers are speaking to the victim in order to ascertain further information.

Anyone who has any information that may assist officers with their enquiries should get in touch with Police Scotland Tayside Division on 101 or speak to any police officer.
