Teenager appeared at Perth Sheriff Court

A 19-year-old teenager appeared at Perth Sheriff Court today, 27th of March following various offences that were carried out on Thursday.

Kieran Phillips, 19, Greyfriars Hostel, appeared at Perth Sheriff Court today he made no plea or declaration.

Its alleged Phillips smashed a bathroom sink leaving a major flood throughout the hostel, smashed double glazing windows and launched heavy objects out of the window, such as a fridge.

Not only that, Phillips allegedly ripped Police Scotlands electric wires from a CCTV Camera.

Kieran Phillips remains in custody for further examination.

Following the stand-off a police spokesman said: "As part of the assessment of the incident, specialist officers, including public order and armed officers attended to bring the matter to a safe conclusion. No one was injured and members of the public were not at risk during this operation."
