Unsuccessful mugging in Crieff

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man attempted to snatch a woman's handbag in Crieff.

The 30 year old woman was in King Street at around 3pm on Wednesday 16 July when a man who is described as aged 20-25 years of age, with drawn-in facial features and large ears attempted to steal the bag. He was unsuccessful.

At the time of the incident the man was wearing a light-coloured bomber style jacket.
