Young mother jailed after smuggling heroin into Perth Prison

Bobby Gairns a mother from Perth has been jailed for five months after she was caught smuggling heroin into Perth Prison.

The 21-year-old who has a child was jailed for five months after prison guards caught the offender smuggling heroin into Perth Prison.

It's understood the young mother smuggled a wrap of heroin into her bra, however, was later caught. Her boyfriend who is currently serving time in prison, asked Bobby several times but refused; but due to her vulnerability she had given in.

It's also understood Bobby Gairns employment was terminated by The Crieff Hotel.

Sheriff Lindsay Foulis decided the best option was to send Bobby Gairns to jail for five months.
