Provost and Big Country launch Perth City Centre Ryder Cup events and activities

What: Launch of Perth City Centre Ryder Cup events and activities

Who: Provost Liz Grant and three members of the Scottish band Big Country, who will be performing at Perth Concert Hall as part of the events programme. Attending from Big Country will be Bruce Watson, Derek Forbes and Jamie Watson.

Where: Perth Concert Hall plaza - meeting point, entrance to Perth Concert Hall

When: Wednesday 24 September, 12.30pm

About: From Wednesday 24 to Sunday 28 September, Perth city centre will be transformed into a family-friendly “fan zone” next week to celebrate The 2014 Ryder Cup. An array of free golf-themed activities and street entertainment will take place, accompanied by a programme of performances at Perth Concert Hall and free screenings at Perth Playhouse
