Hospital Radio Perth will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Saturday with a special live broadcast at Tesco Crieff Road, Perth.

The volunteers from the popular Perth Royal Infirmary station will be broadcasting from 10am through to 4pm from the shop floor. And there will plenty chances to win with Tesco offering a variety of love-themed prizes from a box of chocolates to a bunch of flowers.

Station chairman John Watson explains, “We’ll be there all day, although our live broadcast to PRI will go on pause while we relay commentary from St Johnstone v Celtic which will be taking place just across the road!”

South Street’s award-winning local Indian restaurant, Tabla is also joining in. They are offering a meal for two in a prize draw.

Readers can enter the draw by visiting Hospital Radio Perth’s Facebook page before 3pm on Saturday and entering the name of their favourite love song.

John adds, “It’s proved very popular so far, and we’re going to endeavour to play every single one of these songs during the programme. We’re looking forward to a really fun day with Tesco staff and customers.”
