The Biggest Weekend Comes To Perth

Perth is set for an exciting new event this May when BBC Music in conjunction with Radio 2 and Radio 3 arrive at Scone Palace for The Biggest Weekend. Although the full line up is yet to be announced, Friday 25th May is Radio 3 based with Nigel Kennedy and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra the first announced acts.  Saturday 26th May is Radio 2 based with Simple Minds and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds announced so far.

Tickets costing £18 (plus £4.50 booking fee) for a day ticket, will go on sale on Monday 12th February from 8.30am with 60% of tickets reserved for those who live in the area covered by Perth and Kinross Council. A further 25% of tickets will be reserved for those who live in the surrounding areas of Dundee, Kirkcaldy, and Falkirk postcodes.

There will be a regular shuttle bus to and from the venue to Perth City Centre.  There is parking available but it is strictly limited.
