BBC Biggest Weekend: Thousands attend main event

Thousands make their way to Saturday's main event at the BBC Biggest Weekend at Scone Palace. The main event is expected to attract around 20,000 people and most are excited to see Amy MacDonald, Emeli Sandé, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and more. Perth also enjoyed a successful day yesterday as the crowds were treated to some of the best music across the country.

The controversial traffic management plan by Perth and Kinross Council has so far not caused any issues, drivers are asked to follow signs and not Sat Navs but delays are expected.

The main part of the event kicks off at 15:45 on the main stage with Amy MacDonald.
