Biased BBC? Yes voters were told to say 'No to Independence by producers during a debate show'

The BBC faces questions after Yes Voters were told by producers to say they are voting No because of audience issues - too many yes voters.

Once again the BBC face questions after allegations spark on social media about Scottish Independence. Apparently producers approached some Yes Voters and said that they should say they are voting No during a live Independence debate.

BBC have denied the allegations. It's unconfirmed if producers approached the audience before the referendum debate started. Although more claims from different people have recently shared the same experience while attending to the BBC Scottish Referendum debates.

A recent campaign was launched which has now received over 30,000 signatures in order Ofcom to review the claims, you can view the petition by clicking here.

One user commented: "As an English person living in Scotland, I am distressed by the BBC's one-sided, top-down assumptions about the referendum. Dismissing careful academic research that illustrates the inadequacy and unfairness of their coverage is not good enough for a public service broadcaster."
