Fake ballots papers cause outrage over Scottish Independence

A video has emerged claiming ballot papers were found in a shopping carrier bag behind a bin in Scotland.

The video that can be seen below which explains the cause of the video. A man reporting to the camera that he had found ballot papers behind a bin after alleged tip-off.

However, viewers soon noted several mistakes as most 'ballot' papers didn't have a bar code on, also after investigating the video in software not all papers look the same size suggesting it's fake.

The man claims to have contacted the electoral register about the allegations, however, no report has been received.

One user wrote: "Who goes to bins on the orders of a random phone caller?"

Yes Votes and No Votes even agreed together that the video was a "wind up" and anyone who had fell for it should contact the police.

We are awaiting a comment from Police Scotland about the allegations.
