Campaigners plan protest to ban legal highs in Perth

Campaigners set to protest outside legal high shops in Perth, this July.

Various campaigners from two different groups are planing to protest against legal highs in Perth this July.

This N That, a business that sells legal highs are to be be confronted by protesters in a peaceful campaign. Dave Hannah, a spokesman from the group said: "Legal highs are causing all sorts of problems, anti social behaviour, hospitalisations and deaths. There is a protest outside this n that on 17th July,"

The group also confirmed Pete Wishart, local SNP MP will be in attendance.

Another campaign group will also be protesting on the 25th of July outside legal high shops in Perth. A spokesman from  Scottish Republicans Action Against Drugs said: " We are protesting in Perth on the 25th of July, BBC News will be filming during the protest"
