Discover what goes into 'The Making of a Crime writer' at Alyth talk

Are crime writers born, rather than made? Why choose crime writing over any other genre? Why be a writer in the first place?

These and other questions will be considered by advocate-turned-author Gillian Galbraith at a special talk in Alyth on Tuesday 6th May 2014, looking at what makes a crime writer tick.

Gillian has written five crime novels featuring Edinburgh-based Detective Sergeant Alice Rice, that take a gritty and realistic look at Scottish life and crime. Her latest book, 'The Good Priest', introduces a new lead character, Roman Catholic parish priest Vincent Ross, to readers.

The talk will be given at the Ogilvy Rooms in Alyth, starting at 7pm and lasting for around an hour.
