Police Scotland confirm identity of the 9-year-old boy following serious RTC

Police Scotland have confirmed the identity of the 9-year-old boy from Perth. 

Emergency services were called to the A90 near Dundee last after a serious RTC. Police Scotland have been on scene throughout last night to identity exactly what happened.

Kairon McKay from Perth sadly lost his life after he involved in a RTC. Police confirmed the deceased was a pedestrian at the time.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Further to the release concerning the fatal RTC on the A90 at Longforgan, Police Scotland can confirm that the 9-year-old boy who died was Kairon McKay from the Perth area.

The collision happened at around 9:20pm yesterday (Friday 23 October 2015) and involved a blue Ford C Max."
