Unexplained sudden death investigation underway in Perth

Police Scotland have confirmed they are investigating an unexplained sudden death at Pitcullen Crescent.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said:  “Police Scotland attended at an address in Pitcullen Crescent, Perth in the early hours of (Tuesday, July 8) morning following a report of the sudden death of a 60-year-old woman. The death is being treated as unexplained at this time and enquiries are continuing. As with all sudden deaths, a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
