Zoo Nightclub hits back at media following rumours

Zoo Nightclub confirms they are not closing down after media speculation. 

For years, Zoo Nightclub were faced with questions of demolishing their premises which would be made into new luxury apartments.

However, after local media reported this month that demolishing the club would be on the cards, a spokesman from the nightclub said the news was not true.

Zoo Nightclub LTD said: "The media  are reporting on this planning Application, (twice) in the space of 3 weeks, which is detrimental to our business. Only thinking of what sells papers, and not the late night economy of the town there supposed to entertain the planning does not state the business that is currently there is being knocked down, its the address of the building only.

The business could and probably will eventually be relocated. But at this time there is no date to terminate the lease, and if or when it does by law, we will be notified first. We are now seeking legal advice on this matter."
