Perth Feels Like A City Again…

After hard months of work Perth’s town management and other organisations made the crowd go wild.

On Saturday was bitterly cold but it didn’t stop locals from Perthshire and Dundee to arrive and take part in events across the town. One couple from Birmingham  spoke to the Perth Gazette “I and my wife have came up just to see Mark Wright. We have traveled all day. And won’t be going home till Monday”

The New Madrids were on the main stage during the afternoon then soon after Lorraine Crosby came on the stage. Playing a few tracks from Katy Perry and her own, Meat Loaf track which got the crowd going.

But all focus wasn’t on the main stage, some attention was caused at the Cafe Tabo down by St John’s Place. Britain’s Got Talent Act Luminites were doing signs for at least 25 minutes before being rushed down by the main stage. Luminites tour manager said to Perth Gazette: “I did not know about this gig until last night. I mean this day is very busy we have a gig down in Manchester shortly after this. Very tired and cold”

The event progressed with a few dancers and pipers and Mark Wright finally appeared. But there was slight confusion as to why he was on the back on a Santa sleigh. Well Mr Wright was avoiding the press near to the entrance but was faced with a few witty jokes from Tay FM’s Stuart Website.

But in all good, the festival was a great success which mostly promised businesses a good weekend for them.
