Perth Police stop vehicle carrying £100k worth of heroin

Police Scotland, Perth section stopped a car traveling from Perth to Dundee on Wednesday which was carrying heroin. It’s estimated a street value of £100,000.

*Police Scotland recovered heroin with an estimated street value of £100,000 in Tayside last night (Wed Nov 27).

*The recovery was made when a vehicle was stopped by road policing officers from Perth and Dundee on the A90 Perth to Dundee road at Kinfauns, shortly after 7pm.

*A 34-year-old man was arrested and subsequently charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and he was expected to appear at Perth Sheriff Court today
