Social Media at it’s best, PKC did not follow up their research when promoting stagecoach.  “Want to save money this New Year? Using the bus is 40% cheaper than the car for typical journeys around Perth. #perthonthego”

Katherine Fotheringham posted ” I would use the bus if this was true, but it’s over £7 for myself and two young children to go into town and back again from Scone, or 90p to take my car and park. For this reason, we only take the bus as a ‘treat’!

Others soon commented on the car parking prices and times. Stagecoach are yet to comment on further fares increasing for 2014.
