An online petition has been created to force Perth & Kinross Council to rehouse a tenant into a hostel since setting fire to her own home.

An online petition has been created to force Perth & Kinross Council to rehouse a tenant into a hostel since setting fire to her own home.

Kirsty McFadyen, 24, who has two kids endangered her family and others by setting fire to her house in a bid to get rehoused. Perth & Kinross Council have not yet confirmed that Kirsty McFadyen is living in temporary accommodation.

Today an online petition has been created by author Louise Burden to gain 1,000 signatures to place Kirsty McFadyen into a hostel.

Perth & Kinross Council said: “The Council does not comment on individual circumstances. We have a duty to offer appropriate accommodation taking into account people’s particular needs and requirements.”
