Bomb squad scrambled to an address in Perth

On Tuesday afternoon a bomb squad disposal team were dispatched to an address in Perth.

On Tuesday afternoon an Explosives Ordinance Disposal (EOD) team were dispatched to an address in Perth.

Police Scotland confirmed there was an on-going incident at Newhouse Road in Perth following an old flare was seen by a resident living at the address. An Explosives Ordinance Disposal (EOD)  came from Edinburgh to deal with the incident.

Police Scotland attended at an address in Newhouse Road, Perth at about 4pm yesterday afternoon (Tuesday, April 15) ” following the discovery of a pyrotechnic item within an unused outbuilding. EOD attended and made enquiry and found it to be an inert flare.”
