Deceased man identified following B996 RTC between Kinross to Kelty

Police Scotland, Tayside Division can confirm that a man who suffered fatal injuries as a result of a road traffic collision on the B996 Kinross to Kelty Road at 3.20pm on Wednesday.

Police Scotland, Tayside Division can confirm that a man who suffered fatal injuries as a result of a road traffic collision on the B996 Kinross to Kelty Road at 3.20pm on Wednesday,  May 14 has now been identified.

He has been named as 78 year old, Charles Geddes of Kelty.

Mr Geddes family are understandably upset by their sudden loss and have said that he will be greatly missed.  They do not wish to make any further comments and have requested that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.

Enquiries into the full set of circumstances of the incident are on-going and Tayside Division would appeal for anyone who may have information that could assist officers with their enquiries to contact Tayside Division on 101.

As with all sudden deaths a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
