A 44-year-old motorcyclist has died following a road accident on the A85.

A 44-year-old motorcyclist has died following a road accident on the A85.

Police Scotland can confirm that a 44 year old male motorcyclist riding a red Suzuki GSR 750 suffered fatal injuries following a collision with a Grey Mercedes E250 motor car and a grey Peugeot 807 motor car which occurred about 1035 hours, Saturday 31 May 2014.
Emergency personnel attended the collision location and the road was closed for several hours for the purposes of accident investigation being completed. The road has now been reopened.

Enquiries into the full set of circumstances of the incident are on-going and Tayside Division would appeal for anyone who may have information that could assist officers with their enquiries to contact Tayside Division on 101.

As with all sudden deaths a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
