Police in Perth are carrying out enquiries after vandals smashed the windows of a caravan and daubed it in paint in Scone.

The static caravan, property of Scone Thistle Community Football Club, sits within the grounds of Glebe Primary School at the football pitches.

Sometime between 8.45am on Sunday (May 18) and 5.30pm on Monday (May 19), the caravan’s windows were broken and those responsible daubed it in red and white-coloured paint. The grass outside was also spattered with paint.

Officers are keen to trace a group of young boys seen acting suspiciously in the area at about 5.30 yesterday evening (May 19). There were four or five boys, all aged between 11 to 13-years-old. One boy in the group was seen to have fair hair and was wearing a red top, while there was also a boy with dark hair, wearing a dark blue tracksuit top.
