Customers on EE experiencing major outages in central Scotland

Broadband providers have been affected across central Scotland since Friday it has been confirmed.

Broadband providers  have been affected across central Scotland since Friday it has been confirmed.

Talk Talk, EE and some BT customers are experiencing outages on their broadband service since Friday. An EE technical engineer confirmed that it is being investigated while some EE advisers suggested the issue was fixed.

Several customers on Twitter, in-fact a few hundred have complained directly to their provider asking for an update following the outage.

The following postcodes for Perthshire seem to be affected are, PH1, PH2, PH13, KY13 and KY8.  Parts of Edinburgh, Dundee, Fife and Ayrshire are also experiencing the outage.

UPDATE: Thousands of customers are still left without full service, some customers may get short service, BT Openreach are fixing the issue over night.
