81-year-old woman dies from injuries following A85 traffic collision

Police Scotland can confirm that an 81-year-old woman involved in a road traffic collision on the Perth to Crianlarich road (A85) on Saturday August 2, sadly died from her injuries at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee yesterday evening (Monday, August 4).

Police Scotland can confirm that an 81-year-old woman involved in a road traffic collision on the Perth to Crianlarich road (A85) on Saturday August 2, sadly died from her injuries at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee yesterday evening (Monday, August 4).

She has been identified as Eleanor Rosemary Philip, known as Rosemary, of Perth.

The family ask that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.

Rosemary was the front seat passenger in a blue Skoda Fabia car when it was involved in a collision with a white Vauxhall Astra van at about 7.35pm on Saturday evening on the A85, opposite the junction with the unclassified road to Loanleven Farm.

Enquiries into the collision are on-going. Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen either vehicle prior to, or at the time of the collision to contact Police Scotland on 101.

As with all sudden deaths a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
