Police Scotland are appealing for witnesses following an assault which occurred about 0040 hours on Sunday 28th September 2014 on Scott Street, Perth outside the Poundstretchers shop.
Whereby a lone female was the victim of a sexual assault by a male not known to her, described as 6′ tall in his 20’s with short black curly hair, short full beard, of eastern Mediterranean appearance and wearing dark trousers, an open neck white shirt, and a dark blazer. It is believed that the female made her way to the taxi rank in Mill Street where she was seen to be visibly distressed and offers were made by several members of the public to assist her.
