Vandalism to play park in Perth

Over £3000 worth of damage was caused to a children’s play park at North Inch near to the Bell’s Sport Centre in Perth.

Over £3000 worth of damage was caused to a children’s play park at North Inch near to the Bell’s Sport Centre in Perth.

The incident happened sometime between 11pm and 11.30pm on Tuesday 17 March when the large basket swing was set on fire.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward with information to assist enquiries and to identify those responsible.

Anyone with any information that may be useful should contact Police Scotland, Tayside Division on 101, or any police officer. Alternatively information can be passed anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
