Perth band Stop The Rain achieves 2nd place in UK competition

A band from Perth called Stop The Rain have came second in a UK competition last month in London.

A band from Perth called Stop The Rain have came second in a UK competition last month in London.

Blair Davie, Sam Flood, Sam Steele and Kyle Fummey achieved second place in a competition that was held in London called Rock The House. The competition was created to “raise the political profile of the importance of intellectual property rights, and live music, among Parliamentarians”.

The Reaper in 1st, Stop The Rain in 2nd and Ben Goffin finished in 3rd. The bands MP’s were David Cameron, Pete Wishart and Bob Stewart respectively along with sponsor Yamaha.

The winning prize was to play at the House of Commons however, Stop The Rain did manage themselves a place at the Perth Fake Festival last month.
