Local Perth band Stop The Rain have been working hard on brand new single ‘Everend’ which will be available to buy, download and stream as of now.

Alt-Rock 5 piece, Stop The Rain, consists of singer and guitarist Blair Davie, lead guitarist Leonard Crainie, bassist Sam Flood, Ben Muir on keys and synths and drummer Kyle Fummey. Since forming in late 2015 Stop The Rain have been extremely busy having released four singles and a four-track EP, including brand new single ‘Everend’ available to on all major platforms tomorrow!

STR have been working away the few years climbing to massive success with shows all over Scotland and here in Perth, their hometown. They recently headlined The Gig Room Perth and other venues such as The O2 ABC2. As well as bagging big support slots at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut and Tunnels in Aberdeen.

Stop The Rain discuss the meaning behind their new single saying, “Everend is about reflecting on the idea of commitment and the concept of forever. If something could last forever, as much as you may want it to, then maybe it’s all you would ever know and would be the end of learning and experiencing anything different.”

The band generously sent me over a private link to grab a first listen to their new single before release and I was extremely impressed. The song is as energetic and dynamic as the band themselves, ‘Everend’ will have you singing along and bopping your head in no time. Hats off to Stop The Rain, for their tireless effort and enthusiasm as well as producing quality songs for everyone to enjoy!

Have a follow of their social channels and be sure to check out their brand new single, it’s well worth a listen!
