Councillor Murray Lyle, Leader of Perth & Kinross Council, said: “The Our Place fund is the perfect match for our cultural ambitions across Perthshire and Kinross-shire. As we invest in projects such as Perth Theatre and the transformation of St Paul’s Church into an innovative performance space, we’re encouraging events, tourism and economic growth, as well as building a vibrant place for our communities – and it is communities themselves who will choose how this funding is allocated locally.

“The Council’s excellent track record of attracting international-scale events such as the European Golf Team Championships allows us to raise the profile of the area, bring in visitors, and open up opportunities such as the Our Place Fund. I look forward to seeing the creative results.”
