The Scottish Government has announced schools are expected to reopen in August subjected with evidence of progress with the on-going pandemic.

In documents published today, it said: ā€œPlanning for children to return to school under a blended model of part-time in-school teaching and part-time in-home learningā€.

Schools are expected to reopen on the 11th of August, providing with evidence of progress with the pandemic.

The plan is dependent on medical advice, PPE being available and a reliable test, trace and isolate strategy. Lockdown restrictions are to be relaxed from 28 May, if numbers continue to fall.
