A Resident at HC-One’s Catmoor House care home in Scone had a surprise visit from the newest member of her family, after her great grand daughter came to visit with other members of her family.
Bunty Young, a Resident at Catmoor House, had a surprise visit from her son, Steven on 24th July who had a special little guest with him. Mia, Bunty’s great granddaughter, who was born in Barcelona during lockdown, also paid her a visit.
Bunty Young, a Catmoor House Resident said: “It was the best day of my life, I hope I have many more visits off my family, especially Mia.”
Colleagues at Catmoor House have worked especially hard over the past few weeks to help set up safe, outdoors visits for Residents family and friends. To see all their hard work pay off, with such a special moment, made all the hard work worthwhile.
Homes are now able to accommodate visits if certain guidelines are met, so we can expect to hear of many more feel good stories of families visiting their loved ones, such as Bunty seeing Mia for the first time.
